New York
We arrived at 7 pm at the airport - which was a good time. But to get to our hostel we had to take the metro, which took us one and a half hours, and it was nearly ten o clock, until we found our adress. It turns out, that we stood in front of an office, but not in front of the yoaf lodgehouse. We didnt´t know what to do, until we found someone in this office, it was a jewish man, because we were in the jewish district. He told us, that there never has been a hostel, so, as we were a little bit thrilled by the idea of what to do now, he told us that there is a expensive hotel two streets away. So, because we didn´t know what else we could do - and noone answerd in this hostel, as we called, we took a 200 dollar room in the avenue plaza hotel!
Man gönnt sich ja sonst nichts!!!
However, first thing I did, when I got up in the morning, was ringing our weird hostel, and someone picked up the phone! Juhu! The hostel exists, but has like three diffrent adresses!
So after our big breakfast in the avenue plaza, we will search for our hostel again and hopefully find it!
We will whrite again!
Macht euch keine Sorgen, wir finden uns zurecht und melden uns wieder!
In the meantime: here is a picture of a big bottle of arizona icetea, raspberry, which we drank before our flight to New York!
This our room from the inside:
